Swatches: Maybelline Blushes (Color Goes Electric - Spring 2013)
Maybelline's Spring 2013 Collection "Color Goes Electric" features new limited edition baked blushes: Wild Blossom (shimmery lavender pink), Coral Burst (satin bright orange), and Golden Fuse (shimmery tan). I just bought them so no reviews yet but trust me, the texture of these is amazing. Most baked blushes tend to be hard but these are velvety smooth and blend nicely. The only flaw is that Wild Blossom and Golden Fuse are too glittery on me but despite that, these are three beautiful shades.
(L-R) Wild Blossom, Coral Burst, Golden Fuse
Once I get back home I'll do comparison swatches of these because some of them look familiar!

Coral Burst looks so pretty! xx

Since it's limited edition, I say you should just buy it. It's BOGO50% this week at Rite Aid for Maybelline and I feel that these would go fast!
DeleteI have Golden Fuse, but I think I want Wild Blossom now too :D
ReplyDeleteHow do you like Golden Fuse? After applying Golden Fuse and Wild Blossom, they're way too glittery for me! >.<
DeleteYou do such amazing swatches girl! Thanks for these. I am definitely getting one now. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! Just keep in mind that Wild Blossom and Golden Fuse are glittery.
DeleteThe arm swatches are so pretty. Can't wait to see them on your cheeks. Too bad coral burst is no dupe for Taj Marhal. It looks like a hybrid of taj marhal and exhibit a?
ReplyDeleteYes, unfortunately it's not. It's more like Rock & Republic Immoral or All Nighter. I can also see the hybrid of Taj Mahal and Exhibit A.
DeleteI picked up Coral Burst last week and am absolutely floored by how pigmented and strangely wearable it is! A little bright for the office even with a light hand and a dual fiber brush (how is this even possible), but I hope to get a lot more wear out of it on the weekends come summer!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the comparison post! You have a great eye for color!
Yes, I agree! It's sooo pigmented and easy to blend. Haha, I find that a light hand + dual fiber does the trick but I guess not. Maybe powder on top of it? Or layer a lighter blush on top!
DeleteThey finally came up with some good blushes :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I've been waiting forever for them to!
DeleteToo bad they're limited edition! Another thing to complain about haha.
