Flower Win Some, Rouge Some Creme Blush in Peach Blossom: Review, Swatches, Comparisons

I love a good peach "creamsicle" shade for cheeks and I've found the perfect one! The Flower Win Some, Rouge Some Cream Blush in Peach Blossom is a peach cream blush with slight pink undertones so that it doesn't lean orange on the skin. It's a unique shade that doesn't come out often enough for blushes.

The texture strays from the typical cream blush consistency. Instead of being thick, creamy, and "wet", Peach Blossom has a firm, somewhat silky consistency than a cream one. Though stiff, this is easy to layer and blend. It doesn't have to be set with powder and wears for 4-5 hours. It doesn't emphasize pores or look shiny throughout wear. This is a great cream blush for those who find cream blushes to be too thick and oily/shiny for their combination/oily skin.

Compared to most cream blushes, this has sheer buildable color that delivers a natural glow. It may be small in size but it contains 4g of product which is in range of most cream blushes (NYX is 3.5g, NARS is 5.5g, Illamasqua is 4g, Stila is 4.25g). My only complaints are that I would like it to be slightly more pigmented and creamy.

                                    Price: $7.98 for 4g at walmart.com and select Walmart locations
                                    Color: Peach with some pink undertones; satin finish
                                    Pigmentation: Light to buildable
                                    Texture: A little stiff; non-emollient; more powdery than creamy/wet
                                    Pros: Lasts 4-5 hours; doesn't need to powder; easy to blend and layer; easy to work with;
                                    imparts natural glow; dries down to a silky finish; doesn't accentuate pores or look greasy on
                                    skin
                                    Cons: Not as pigmented as NYX or Illamasqua creme blushes; texture is on
                                    the drier side for a creme blush; packaging gets dirty easily
                                    Overall: A-, I really love the formula, color, and look of this blush. If you think most cream
                                    blushes are too pigmented and creamy, definitely consider this line.

    1. Sure, go ahead :) It works well because it's hard to imagine how much blush livens up the face without seeing the before.

      I'm sure the Flower products will roll in soon (their website says Jan 31st).

  3. I absolutely love the color. Actually I love all the colors in the comparison photo. The pigmentation doesn't sound that amazing, though. I guess one plus to that is it'll be more forgiving in application, so a good option to anyone new to makeup.
