Wet'n'Wild Silk Finish lipsticks are $0.99 for .13oz at local drugstores. They are undoubtedly the best lipsticks for the price. I picked these up when Rite Aid was having a sale for about 50 cents each...a total steal!
I have the colors: 501b, 502a, 508a, 509a, 510a, 514a, 516c, 519a, 520e, 521a, 525d, 528a, 529b, 552a, 553b
Glides on smoothly
Lasts 2-4 hours
Slight cheap scent
Bottom Line: The quality of this line (especially the range of red lipsticks) definitely surpasses the price. If you want to experiment with color, definitely check out these lipsticks.
Pigmentation - ( 4 / 5 ) The pigmentation is amazing for only $1. Pigmentation and texture wise, they're on par with the Maybelline Colorsensational line.
Shades - ( 2 / 5 ) There are 22 shades in this collection consisting of frosts and cremes.
Texture - ( 4 / 5 ) These are similar to the feel of Maybelline Colorsensational lipsticks - more waxy feeling than creamy. These aren't hydrating but aren't drying either. These don't settle in lines, fade unevenly, or feel like you're wearing lipstick. They have a faint cheap scent but nothing too bad.
Longevity - ( 3 / 5 ) The lighter shades last about 2-3 hours, darker ones last about 3-4 hours. They're not long wearing but they do last longer than the Revlon Lip Butters.
Packaging - ( 2 / 5 ) I dislike how easily the lipstick can get everywhere. The cap isn't secure and the packaging, aside from poor performance, is tacky. The name is only written on the plastic seal so you're stuck with numbers.
Overall - ( 3.5 / 5 ) For only $1 each, this lipstick line is actually a steal. It's the perfect line for experimenting daring or trendy shades that you don't know will look good on you. The reds in here are large in variety (and tones) and are a classic!
